Hi all My name is Guy, have just moved to the East coast and looking forward to a new start with the family. I love classic cars and all the shows and Fun that comes with ownership, I currently have a 1973 P6 3500s third owner and owned for 8 years, also have a 1987 XR3i Cabriolete 3rd owner on this one two, coming up to 2 years ownership on this one. It hasn't moved over with me yet so will need to get it over for the spring, summer to take advantage of the coast and hopefully some SUNSHINE! got to be better than last year 80% of my listed show's got cancled Sad
So happy New Year to all and look forward to meeting hopefull everyone at some point in the future Very Happy

Hi Guy, where did you move from? Just being nosey!
Good to have another V8 owner on here, is it tax exempt or was it assembled in 73?

Hi Buick350,
I moved from Enfield North London area the p6 has missed being tax free by 6 months but get so much pleasure from it its a small price to pay for so much enjoyment. I'll take the savings on the insurance which have now gone down considerably on all my cars nice to get some cash back from them for a change with out the hassel of an accident Laughing

Was it one of the last 1973 models off the production line? Mine was built in August 1972 but being a 73 model I had to jump through lots of hoops to gain historic status compute

Been through everything it was built in July 73 so unless they do a rolling tax exemption (never will happen in my view) it will never gain status as historic and be tax free.

Very smart can't say I've seen that one before unless recently done, I can say my car is far from mint and is work in progress, sorted my engine bay out about 7 years ago and is starting to look a bit tired now, will probably do it all again in the near future want to sort out repairs to both bottoms of the rear doors and a paint job next really. But first thing is to find a job with out money no play time Wink
