nearly there, thanks to Jake for the silicone gasket sealer, it worked great

When the engine got hot I noticed a big oil leak at the back 
Lifted it out again, spun the pump with a drill and thankfully the leak was coming from one of the three oil plugs you can see in pics, adjacent to cam tunnel. easy fix
