:lol! sorry mrs baz got her dates mixed up its claydon next week ,but i will b going to that any way ,all monkeys invited 7 > till wen you want if its nice , if bad weather from 8 ,now ive read my news letter its the 20th of july felixstowe , any way back to the question (prop) joints are the same. lengh ?? wont really know till i try and fit it but i have a guy waiting at scholer to make it and ballance it for me wen ime ready , the exhurst i hope there is a place at manigtree and needham that make them up to fitt in stainless

well its half in and the prop is spot on how lucky is that ,just got to mod the mounts ,and work out the shifter ,then find a place that makes pipes

These boys are the experts, could come at a price though. you can probably still buy one for your car in the states.

if i have to take out and fit this engine any maore times ime gonna pull my hair out ,its out again 2nite (4 times now) but should b the last welds 2morrow then fit it bolt it down ,make the gearbox mount ,then take it out AGAIN ,paint and rewire engine bay and tidy up then fit permently , only thing i need is a oil cooler for the auto box (does it need one ?? ) seems to me the old one just went into a hot radiator

Yes Baz, in and out of cooler is standard I added an oil cooler to mine as I have a high stall converter, can also be a good Idea if towing

It looks like someone has cut out your cross member to install that 4 banger Baz and welded in a piece of tube in its place. Please tell me it aint so

no lol it has a bolt in cross member its a very wide tube bar with 3 bolts each side , but ive now put in a another bar with the new mounts on

we must have a cruise, perhaps meet before felixstowe chip night

after haveing its 2nd test run ,getting up to full temp ,going into all gears changeing up and down all smooth , the bloody fuel pump started spitting out petrol and a bit of oil from the crimp and its a non repair one so i cant fit a new diafram ,so ive gotta wait up 2 14 days till a new one turns up , so i hope its here for the nationals ,, ( ohhhh that show dosent exsit does it jake lol)

You should get next day delivery on a 289 fuel pump, common as muck! where did you order from?

ive got a 2 bolt fixing one so it had to come from aus its a 302 cleveland and not a comman 351 cleveland one , all the others had a 3 bolt fixing

couldnt you make a blanking plate and run a leccy fuel pump?

use the gasket as a template, cut it out of a piece of 3mm sheet metal, bobs your uncle

OMG ive just found out how my car waz lowed at the front they put a shorter shock on and pulled the spring tighter together , so wen i went to try and undo it ,it went off like a bomb ,, now i have a car thats up 6 inchs higher than the other side , ile have to get someone heavy to sit in the passenger side
