I am sorry but the E A P C club has gone to the wall regarding events, they are just not doing anything other than using someone elses event to make it look good for the committee. They have got nearly 7K in the bank, some of that would fund a show or a good day out for the membership, as for a Questionare, that was done a few years ago and the results mean FA. Aldeburgh has lost its atmosphere and original meaning, as for thinking about moving the event to Thorpeness-----just stupid, what the fuck is there a shallow mere, fuck all else! Riding on the back of what will be a horsey event at Hollesley on June 29th / 30th for the 25 Anniversary is just a sign of committee weakness but I am sure the committee will get a pat on the back for giving the members a three coloured windscreen sticker to celebrate 25 years of a club that has seen it's best days until attitudes and up to date views prevail.
I will certainly not be attending the waving good bye of a very rusty and well worn Triumph Herald which is going to try and get to Istanbul or somewhere camels rule (for a very good cause I am sure and I hope they succeed). Then have an over priced meal at a second rate B & B on the Old London Road-----not my first choice for "Drive it Day" sorry.
