CLASSIC CAR SHOW... STOWMARKET... 11TH AUGUST..

Hi folks.
I hope all is well with everyone... Nice to see a few of you at 'cars on the green' last month.
Just wondering if some, if not all of you could make a trip to Stowmarket on Sunday 11th of August for a classic car show.
We will be closing the whole high street for display, food, etc etc...
The East Anglian Museum of Life is 200 yards away... So leave your cars and have a wander around the newly opened house and the very well established museum itself..

 This show is not for 'moderns'... so don't worry !  

Anyone is welcome including bikes, tractors, cranes..... even diggers...  

Please leave a response here or email me directly... All I need is name, car, and reg no.... All bookings will be treated provisionally so that if it is raining/you break down/are hung over.... at least can say that you tried

Exactly that.
We are shutting the entire High St and market place for the cars, food stalls and entertainment.
The Museum will also be open and probably the 'John Peel Centre'..
Around 200 already booked according to Andrew !

How many can you fit in?

Just spoken to the council co-ordinator and booking is now NOT ESSENTIAL...
Just preferable as the powers that be like to think they know what's occurring !!

So.... Feel free to turn up in your 'Muscle' , ' Rod' or 'custom' ....or anything not too new unless it is 'interesting'

Remember that this free to show and donations go to a very worthy cause...

Getting close now !!
We have over 100 cars booked and plenty of room !!
Anyone wishing to attend is more than welcome.
There is a start point for the early bird at Tesco Stowmarket. 11-00am for a 11-30 departure to the town centre,
I will be on top gate in the town, so don't worry if you are late ! I'm not turning people away !!
Don't forget that the museum will be holding its steam and crafts weekend and the John Peel Centre will be open also.

Entertainment and food stalls in town will be providing an extra 'pull'...
So as long as you don't bring your Saxo...( unless it has a 5.7)...come and join in !

Approx 100 cars supposed to be up there. ( that is how many were booked in on Monday)
Some may just drive straight to town.
I wont be up at Tesco..... I will see you on arrival  

Weather dont look bad either! my son has never seen Stowmartians in their natural habitat
